Bath City Youth FC respects the privacy of players, parents, carers and volunteers. This notice explains how we use information received through this website.

Who is responsible?

Bath City Youth FC is responsible for club enquiry information. General contact: [email protected]. The club’s full organisational identity, correspondence address and data-protection contact must be confirmed before publication.

What we collect and why

For an initial enquiry we ask for a parent or carer’s name, email and telephone number, the player’s age group or school year, and the reason for contacting us. We use this to reply and direct the enquiry to the appropriate club official. Please do not include medical information or confidential safeguarding details in the general form.

Registration, membership, photography and safeguarding records have additional purposes and requirements. The club must approve the applicable lawful basis and any additional condition for sensitive information before collecting it.

Who can access your information?

Only authorised club officers and relevant team officials should receive enquiries. Google services may process information on the club’s behalf. Information may be shared with football bodies or authorities where necessary and lawful. Personal records must never be placed in public team or training spreadsheets.

How long we keep it

Before launch, the committee must approve retention periods for general enquiries, joining enquiries, membership records and safeguarding records, and appoint a person responsible for deletion. These periods will be added here.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to its use, and withdraw consent where consent applies. Contact the club using the address above. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Children, photographs and other services

Children’s information requires particular care. Team photographs and named contacts will only be published following the club’s approval process. Other websites have their own privacy notices. The club must confirm its Google Workspace arrangements, international-transfer safeguards and any additional service providers before this notice is finalised.
